  • National Philanthropy Day Nominees Announced

    Winners will be awarded during the annual luncheon

    Pensacola, FL (September 20, 2019) – The Association of Fundraising Professionals West Florida Chapter proudly announces the nominees for the 2019 National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon.

    Several individuals and organizations were nominated for their philanthropic efforts including: Ascend Performance Materials, Karoline Barkley, The Birthday Party, Michele DuMond, Gulf Power Foundation, Hancock Whitney Bank, Hill Kelly Dodge, Innisfree Hotels, International Paper, Andrea Krieger, Northwest Florida Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Kim and Julian MacQueen, Sally McConnell, Melba Bayers Meyers Charitable Trust, Valerie and Ray Russenberger, Michelle Salzman, Santa Rosa Energy Center, Scott Westmark & Associates Allstate Agency, Studer Community Institute, United Way of West Florida, and Rob and Judie Zitzewitz

    All nominees will be recognized and winners announced during the annual luncheon at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15 at the Pensacola Yacht Club, 1897 Cypress St. Reservations are now open at https://community.afpnet.org/afpflwestchapter. Tickets for the luncheon are $35 for AFP members and $45 for non-members until Nov. 9. Walk-ins will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $50 per person. Sponsorship opportunities and tables are also available.

    In celebration of the nominees and their work, there will be an after-hours social at Studer Community Institute, 220 W Garden St, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. All nominees, guests and community members are invited to attend.
