April Lunch & Learn - Making Adjustments during Covid-19

When:  Apr 15, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (AKT)
Associated with  AFP, Alaska Chapter

Description: Making Adjustments During the Covid-19 Outbreak: Asking Questions and Sharing Solutions

You are not alone.  Fundraisers and nonprofit leaders across our state are now faced with immense challenges for which there is no playbook. We are all learning, trying new things, and finding mixed success.

AFP Alaska Chapter will facilitate a sharing of information between Alaskans engaged in fundraising about what’s working, what’s not, and ideas for where to go from here.  Bring to the meeting your questions for other participants, and stories of what your organization is doing to meet the changing needs of your staff, donors, and community.

We will facilitate the conversation, but you are the teacher, so come prepared.  Some, but not all, of the questions to consider in preparation for our time together could be:

  1. What technological tools has your organization been using to assist with remote work? Have they been effective?
  2. How are you maintaining/changing your communications with donors and partners? What have you modified/stopped/just started doing?
  3. What goals and initiatives are changing and how?
  4. What have your donors been telling you?
  5. What are you doing to maintain and/or strengthen your donor relationships

We hope you are well, and that you are finding ways to cope.We look forward to providing this opportunity to learn and share in a unique way, for a unique time. This online event will be facilitated by AFP Chapter past president Ann Hale, CFRE.
