Description

Ethical Fundraising in Action will present different fundraising case studies that relate to the four pillars of the AFP Code of Ethical Standards. Diana Marquis, CFRE, and Founder/Chief Strategist for DMGroupConsulting will engage the audience members by asking them what they would do in each scenario and why. "Ethics is a huge gray area. What one organization considers ethical may be unethical for another agency. Ask yourself:
  1. Is my decision legal?
  2. Is my decision right?
  3. Is my decision the best for my organization?
  4. Can I stand by my decision regardless of the consequences?
