THE MAGIC OF DONORS

The climate is changing with our Donors (with a focus on High Net Worth Individuals) – What are the shifts in giving and trends impacting their giving – What’s new and how can you more effectively engage them with your nonprofit? Join us for brief content sharing followed by small group facilitated discussion with our peers led by expert Russell Goldstein CFP®,CAP®, Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor at U.S. Trust. Has the tax act altered giving? How do family, age, sophistication, gender and demographics play into giving decisions? How can we close the gap & remove the barriers to giving for donors within their philanthropic advice ecosystem? Why is their biggest challenge deciding who to give to? Hear and share the Insights, trends, data and stories focused on HNW Philanthropy.
WHY JOIN THE SECOND SNAP CONVERSATION ON MAY 21?
  • Networking
  • Resource for succession planning in the community
  • Education through sharing experiences and building trust among colleagues
  • Higher level education for experienced development professionals
  • Contribution to local fundraising community
*What is SNAP?
  • Are you a current practicing professional in a nonprofit organization with at least 10 years practice in the industry (if so, you’re not old, you’re seasoned!) and this session is just for you! This group is brand new, you haven’t missed anything… yet!
  • Here is the scoop: Join a group of AFP members for the second of three “conversation” events in 2019 geared towards senior level professionals. We plan to call ourselves SNAP or the Senior Network of Advancement Professionals. (Sounds good, right?)
  • If we do this right, (and it really matters to us if we do) we will provide a few meaningful educational and networking opportunities this year geared to senior-level members of the AFP of Greater Arizona to help advance in our profession (can’t go wrong with that, right?!); serve as a resource to ensure the highest level of ethical practice (mom would be proud!), and contribute to the advancement of nonprofit and philanthropic communities (which is why we do this stuff, right?!)
