When the Okanagan was still relatively new to large fundraising efforts, she assembled and mentored volunteers and staff teams to successfully launch multiple campaigns, including raising $38 million for capital projects, scholarships, bursaries, and program support at Okanagan College -- landing the largest ever individual donation to a college in B.C. Kathy’s 17 years in health care fundraising with the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation built her knowledge of annual, major gift and capital fundraising, where with a small team of volunteers she raised over $30 million.
