So we keep hearing about Giving Tuesday....it is November 30th this year. Maybe you have been a part of it in one way or another. This is your opportunity to come together with one of the Sarah Lyon from Giving Tuesday Canada to talk openly and honestly about Giving Tuesday so you can gain more understanding as to why it is important and how it impacts you and your work. 

This is an informal virtual "Coffee Chat" so we hope you get yourself a cup of coffee/tea and participate with an open mind to hear and share why the  Giving Tuesday movement might be worth being a part of.

About Sarah Lyon -

Sarah has been in fundraising for 14 years, with a background in Public Relations. Most recently she was the Director of Philanthropy at the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia and is a member of AFP. In 2015, after hearing about the success of Giving Tuesday community campaigns in Baltimore and Guelph, she founded Nova Scotia Gives More. Six years later the movement continues with over 80 organizations participating. This year Sarah officially joined the GivingTuesday Canada team as the Community Engagement Lead. She lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and enjoys hockey games, the outdoors, and travelling (when we were all able to do that....)
