Grantwriting can be very competitive. Nonprofits are competing over limited funds, so it’s critical that you’re putting forth the strongest applications on behalf of your organization. Learn what funders are looking for and how to tell your nonprofit’s story effectively to grantmakers while answering the questions asked within the space allotted. Ample time will be available for your specific questions. Please bring any grants you’re working on for discussion.

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Identify prospective funding matches
  • Organize their grant seeking efforts
  • Apply a logic model to their programs
  • Describe a quality proposal
  • Explain why grants are denied
