Join us to learn how to identify funding prospects for your organization by searching in Candid’s Foundation Directory. Alison will share how to access and strategically search Foundation Directory and other resources for finding funding. At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • explain what Foundation Directory is;
  • identify strategies for searching for potential funders; and 
  • describe evaluation criteria for evaluating prospects. 

Participants will also learn about other free learning resources offered by Candid and leave with a tip sheet to follow when ready to search Foundation Directory on their own. 

About Alison Wessel
Alison Wessel is a social sciences librarian at the University of Delaware who wears many hats including serving as the grants and foundations specialist. Alison teaches semi-annual workshops and provides consultations on finding funding for research, nonprofit organizations, and individual support.
