Join the conversation to learn more about the Delaware Community Foundation small grant programs opening in February and March as well as opportunities opening later in the year. During this session, AFP Brandywine Chapter members will gain an understanding of how the DCF will be evaluating these grants internally and externally with the volunteer DCF Grant Committee.
About the Presenter: Yolanda Rushdan, Senior Program Officer, Delaware Community Foundation
Yolanda Rushdan is a Senior Program Officer at the Delaware Community Foundation (DCF) on the Community Impact Team. In this capacity, Yolanda served on the Meet the Moment Grant Initiative and the DCF’s Strategic Rapid Response Fund with Philanthropy Delaware, United Way, and DANA, providing millions of dollars of grants during the coronavirus pandemic. At the DCF, Yolanda coordinates the competitive grant process with the volunteer Grant Committee, works with youth in New Castle County on their philanthropic service-learning goals and collaboratively with the Philanthropic Services team to support statewide community needs. Prior to joining the DCF, Yolanda was the Director of Development at Exceptional Care for Children, Delaware’s first and only pediatric nursing home, and also worked in development roles at Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and Delaware Children’s Museum.
