Lori Counts is a senior consultant and executive coach for Accordant Philanthropy. Accordant is a thought leader in advancing philanthropy and community partnerships to elevate health care. Lori has more than 30 years of experience in fund development and has started development efforts for two healthcare systems from inception to maturity; one, a community-based system and the other, a large pediatric system spanning multiple states. As an accomplished development executive and certified executive coach, her areas of expertise include: executive leadership development and coaching, staff and board leadership training, cross-disciplinary collaboration, strategic planning and execution, major donor portfolio management, and capital campaign fundraising. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive and has achieved the highest level of certification in health care philanthropy as a Fellow of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (FAHP). She holds a master’s in communication arts from the University of Cincinnati.
