Looking for a new development role? This session will provide tips and tricks to help you land the fundraising role of your dreams. Learn how to carefully craft your resume and cover letter, ace the interview, build your network, and develop a job search action plan. In addition to technical strategies, this training will address mental aspects such as dealing with nervousness and offer perspective on how to stay motivated during this daunting, yet rewarding process.

About Lindsay Lancaster
Lindsay is a career changer who discovered the fun in fundraising. She has over eight years of nonprofit experience, wearing many different hats. As a Foundation Relations Specialist at the Student Conservation Association, Lindsay manages a portfolio of foundations in the Eastern U.S. Previously, Lindsay worked at Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids (HFHK) in a dual role as Development Director and Program Manager. Contributing to the statewide expansion of HFHK’s school vegetable garden program, she managed many aspects of fundraising including grants, special events, digital campaigns, and foundation, corporate, and individual giving.
