Presentation Topic:
Fundraisers rarely if ever hold the top spot on the staff organizational chart. Therefore, fundraisers need to lead up – sometimes to the chief development officer and also to the chief executive officer and the board of directors. Learn how fundraisers can use their unique power to lead up and influence decisions made about fundraising and the nonprofits where they serve.
Fundraisers will learn:
1. Different types of power in the nonprofit workplace
2. The unique power held by fundraisers
3. How fundraisers can utilize their power to have a positive influence
