Fundraising During an Uncertain Economy" with Kathy Werthheim, CFRE, Werth-It Consulting

When:  Mar 14, 2019 from 11:45 AM to 01:30 PM (PT)
Recession, crisis, disaster: How to fundraise NOW before something hits

It seems like the news is a steady drumbeat of doom: Fire, mudslides, a future recession. Would you like to know how to solidify your funding so your organization would be strong in the face of a future crisis? What if you could open each fiscal year knowing money was already coming in, that you could count on, year after year? Katherine Wertheim has raised millions of dollars through three recessions and while working in Washington, DC during and after September 11th. She’ll teach us how to fortify our organizations to be sustainable no matter what the future holds. Her methods can be used immediately, at no- to low-cost, and this training is suitable for executive directors and board members as well.

Katherine Wertheim, CFRE, has taught fundraising to thousands of people from Seattle to Santiago and Massachusetts to Malaysia. She has consulted locally for the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art and the Salvation Army, and for dozens of organizations in California and Washington, DC. Her published articles on fundraising have been viewed by more than 200,000 people worldwide. She earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive credential, held by fewer than 3% of fundraisers, and she is a Master Trainer though the Association of Fundraising Professionals, one of 242 in the world. She’s served on 13 boards of directors at the local, state, regional and national level, serving in every officer’s position, starting at age 16.
