Description

Fulfillment in our work as development professionals comes from raising money that
makes nonprofit work possible. The best fundraisers meaningfully engage
philanthropists in mission and impact to inspire giving. Is there a way to link mindful
cultivation with forecastable fundraising success? Join us for a presentation on
pipeline development as we discuss tools and strategies to approach fundraising
pursuits with thoughtful planning.

Based in Southern California, Aashika Patel, Corporate Vice President
with CCS Fundraising, has over ten years of fundraising experience with
a broad range of organizations. Aashika has expertise in the areas of
board recruitment and training; campaign planning and development;
donor management and reporting; major gift solicitation and stewardship;
building planned giving programs at cash-dependent organizations;
development officer training and goal-setting; and creating fundraising
metrics unique to individual organizations.

Aashika is currently leading a $15 million capital and endowment
campaign for the Cayton Museum in Santa Monica, that is already
ahead of schedule toward its goal. She is a graduate of New York
University with a Master of Science in Fundraising and Grantmaking,
and a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, New York.

Aashika has a wholehearted belief that the third sector, the non-profit
sector, is the perfect place for talented, driven individuals who are “the
change they wish to see in the world.” It gives her great satisfaction to
deliver fundraising strategy and results to visionary leaders of
organizations as they implement creative programs and ideas to serve
society.
