In a report released in February this year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, charitable giving in 2018 was increasingly concentrated among larger donors, which shows how the tax-code changes are starting to shift the the nonprofit sector. The philanthropic climate is changing with a 4.5% decrease in the number of donors last year, and signs that the tax law is discouraging some gifts. How can we as fundraiser make this shift in our work?
