Beginning in Fall 2017, Stanislaus Community Foundation formed a group of local nonprofit leaders to help answer the question: “What is the overall health of Stanislaus County’s nonprofit community?”  Working with Sutter Health Foundation, Stanislaus State University, United Way of Stanislaus County and Great Valley Center, the group developed the following project outcomes:

1)      Educate local donors – and the community at large – about timely, relevant and substantive data related to nonprofits

2)      Respond to overall nonprofit trends affecting our community

3)      Develop partnerships and engagement opportunities to support local nonprofit organizations

Come hear more about the survey and the results at our March 7 meeting, where we’ll be joined by Marian Kaanon, President and CEO of Stanislaus Community Foundation.

More than 55 CEOs of nonprofit organizations were surveyed and the results compiled into a report including their most urgent needs, capacity building and planning for long-term stability. View and download a copy of the State of Stanislaus County's Nonprofit Sector.
