About the Speaker
Craig Orona is the founder of Craig Orona Consulting, where he partners with nonprofits, educational institutions, and businesses to support strategic planning, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational growth.
Previously, as President & CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County, Craig built a distinguished career designing innovative programs, strengthening organizational systems, and developing leaders who drive sustainable growth and long-term success. His leadership impact spans organizations including the YMCA, Modesto City Schools, and Sierra Vista Child & Family Services.
Craig holds an MBA and has more than three decades of proven leadership experience. He brings a powerful combination of strategic vision, execution focus, and leadership insight, and is known for helping organizations grow stronger, lead with purpose, and achieve lasting impact.
Craig is an active Rotarian and Past President of the Modesto Sunrise Rotary Club. He currently serves Rotary District 5220 as Youth Exchange Chair and Leadership Academy Chair. He also serves as a board member of Love Stanislaus County, member of the Juvenile Justice Commission of Stanislaus County, and contributes to various local community initiatives and projects.
Craig is married to his wife Stephanie and is a proud father of two sons. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending live music concerts, and traveling.
AFP Yosemite Meeting Refund Policy
To help us order the appropriate amount of food and prepare adequate meeting space, we rely on accurate RSVPs. Please review our meeting registration, refund, and transfer guidelines:
Refunds & Cancellations
- If you cancel 48 hours or more before the meeting, you will receive a full refund for any prepaid registration.
- If you cancel less than 48 hours before the meeting, your payment is non‑refundable.
One-Time Annual Transfer
- Once per calendar year, you may transfer a prepaid registration to another meeting.
- You must RSVP for the future meeting and request to use your transfer within 48 hours of the new meeting.
- If the new meeting is a higher price, you will be expected to pay the difference. If the new meeting is a lower price, AFP Yosemite will refund the difference.
Unpaid RSVPs
- If you RSVP without payment and fail to cancel at least 48 hours in advance, you will:
- Be billed for the meeting or
- Use your one-time annual transfer (if available).
Substitutions
- You may designate someone else to attend in your place.
- If the substitute is a non-member, the additional $10 non-member fee will apply.
Walk-Ins
- Walk-ins are welcome, but food is not guaranteed. Preregistered attendees receive priority.
- Walk-ins will be charged the meeting rate.
