Karlha Arias is a bold, first-gen Latina mixing it up in the world of social entrepreneurship. Spinning challenges into opportunities is her jam. Leading the charge at Korazón Konsultants and yüda, she's all about marrying tech with social good to level up community power.
Daisy Mayorga-Fuentes is the co-founder of yüda, where they’re working to make tech more accessible and equitable. She has a background in computer science, data science, manufacturing, project management, and education, which has given her a unique perspective on the tech world. Daisy has worked on some exciting projects, like the Spottr App, a location scouting tool for photographers, and a Data Science project for Alzheimer's Disease Prediction. She has also contributed to open-source projects like Bountiful Futures, developed a Bias Mini Crash Course, and worked on bridging the digital divide through the CodeX LMS project. Her work spans various domains, including data science, machine learning, and community-focused apps like Sustain The Valley, a resource hub during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each of these experiences has fueled my passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world problems.
