Susan C. Donker is an accomplished senior healthcare and human resources executive. Susan now focuses on working with senior leaders from a variety of industries who are looking for support with organizational design, development, team building, facilitation, executive coaching, Board development and HR strategy. A common theme of Susan’s strengths is her strategic vision, collaboration, respectful straight talk, and her capability to facilitate disparate points of view to align on common purpose. Susan welcomes the opportunity to integrate people practices with operations, paying close attention to helping a company figure out how best to achieve its quality service objectives while delivering business performance, customer satisfaction and results.
Susan brings a wicked sense of humor, purpose and results focus to her work as a consultant, trusted advisor and coach and in her many volunteer activities. Susan is often called upon to resolve complex operational, compliance, organizational and administrative issues. She has a demonstrated record of effective leadership of people, and development of policies, processes and programs that drive an organization’s goals and achievement of mission. In 2017 Susan completed a successful career as Regional Vice President of Human Resources for Sutter Health; and now works as a Senior Advisor with Pacific Rim Advisory Group. Her clients have included California Emerging Technologies Fund, Fiscalini Cheese Company, Roland Construction, Sierra Vista Child and Family Services, RFC Engineering, Family Promise and Sutter Health.
Susan earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Arts from John F. Kennedy University. She is active in her Modesto community, currently serving as Vice-Chair for Community Hospice, Inc., past Chair for Stanislaus Partners in Education (SPIE), and Chair of the Staff Parish Relations Committee for First United Methodist Church.
