Emily Hunt-Hinojosa is a Research Associate with Prosper Waco where she previously served as Director of Research and Community Impact. Her work with Prosper Waco is focused on developing the RoundTable platform for the Greater Waco Community. Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Hunt-Hinojosa earned a Ph.D. from the Department of Sociology at Baylor University where she spent time as a data analyst with the Baylor Center for Community Research and Development. She holds an Associate Fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture at the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on the intersection of social change, education, and political culture. She enjoys non-pandemic travel and exploring the Great Outdoors in Waco with her husband Carlos and two sons, Oscar (3) and Elias (1).
