A revolving door of staff is hard on office culture and ultimately, donor relationships. Putting staff in roles where they thrive, and empowering them to utilize their natural gifts and abilities is key to a successful fundraising program and an invested team. Join us for our February Education Meeting as we seek to better understand how to address high turnover in the development field, and learn how to attract and retain the right fundraising staff.
Our featured speaker is Lyle Mason, Vice President for Development at Methodist Children's Home. Lyle was first hired by MCH in 2010 to work in Donor Relations, later serving as Director of Benefactor Relations from 2012-2016. From 2016-2019 Lyle served as executive director of the Magnolia Foundation, returning to MCH in 2019 as VP for Development, where he leads all fundraising efforts.
