Leah Berry serves as the Stewardship and Planned Giving Coordinator at Waco Foundation, where she leads efforts to make planned giving more approachable and practical for donors, nonprofits, and faith communities. Her work includes developing educational resources, supporting organizations as they build planned giving programs, and helping donors explore meaningful ways to leave a lasting legacy.
Leah developed Waco Foundation’s Planned Giving for Nonprofits curriculum, a program that guides nonprofit organizations through the process of building sustainable planned giving programs. She also develop the Legacy Gift Box, a resource designed to help faith communities engage their congregants in planned giving conversations, and helps steward members of the Pie Society, a community-wide recognition society for individuals who have included a nonprofit organization in their estate plans.
Leah brings 10 years of nonprofit experience to her role, along with several additional years of experience in church ministry and fundraising for mission work. Outside of work, she is a mom to two girls, ages 8 and almost 4, and enjoys painting, hiking, and spending time with dogs whenever she gets the chance.
