These informal events take place on the last Friday of every month from 8:30am-9:30am at coffee shops across the metro. This month we will meet at Mars Cafe located at 2318 University Avenue in Des Moines. Bring your fundraising questions, challenges, news, and insights to share and discuss with your peers. AFP Coffee Club is open to both members and non-members of AFP Central Iowa.

december 19th = white elephant exchange

Join us for a special holiday Coffee Club celebration and white elephant exchange! This holiday social during an especially busy time of year is a chance for all of us to take a pause, let off some steam, and enjoy the company of our AFP peers.

Participating in the white elephant exchange is not required to attend, but certainly encouraged! Rather than add another to-do to your extensive list, consider bringing a branded piece of merchandise or trinket from organization- perhaps a tote bag, travel coffee mug, recipe book? Take a peak in the storage closet or your event bins and see what treasures you unearth! Target a value of $5-10 for the white elephant gift you choose to bring, and wrap or conceal it 😊
