Lauren Dixson will guide an interactive discussion on how to optimize prospect research and management practices for your organization. Depending on the size of your staff and resources, there are ways to conduct prospect research to uncover the capacity of current and future donors. An effective prospect management system is part of donor stewardship and lays a groundwork for long-term success. Lauren consults with smaller non-profits and can scale her knowledge and expertise to any size budget.

Lauren is the Director of Development Services at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she has managed the Donor Relations, Prospect Research and Foundation Relations departments since 2011. Previously, she worked at the Iowa State University Foundation as the Associate Director of Development Research.

Lauren is a former member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (2013-2017). In addition to her service on the international board, Lauren served as the APRA conference chair in 2013, on the conference curriculum planning committee in 2011 & 2012, and as president of the APRA-Great Plains chapter from 2010-2012.
