Gather for lunch with your AFP of Central Iowa colleagues and take away information every fundraising professional should know!
Enjoy the opportunity to engage with and hear from the 2025 National Philanthropy Day honorees. You saw them honored last November, now hear more about their views on philanthropy and giving back to our community. Our own Andrea Wright will facilitate a thought-provoking discussion about what inspires each awardee to say “yes” and receive suggestions they have for being more effective and successful as fundraisers.
Guests will gain valuable insights directly from these leading donors and community volunteers on what they think about being a leader in philanthropy really means. There will be time following the discussion for questions and answers with our panel attendees.
The 2025 Honorees Panel includes:

- Emily Webb - Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
- Mark Vukovich - Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
- Jacob Forney - Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy
PARKING
Note the different location for this meeting. There is parking on site to the west of the building and in the lot across Kenyon Avenue. Parking is also available on Kenyon.

We will enjoy catering from In the Bag for this month's luncheon. Please complete this google form to make your choice between: Basic Brown Bag Turkey sandwich, Basic Brown Bag Roast Beef sandwich, Basic Brown Bag Vegetarian sandwich, Autumn River Salad, or Fresh Strawberry Salad (vegetarian). Anyone registered who does not submit a lunch choice by 5/6/26 will receive the Basic Brown Bag Turkey sandwich.
