IDEA - When Fundraisers Confront Bias: An Interactive Problem Solving Discussion

When:  Oct 24, 2019 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM (ET)
The IDEA Community invites the AFP DC members to a frank discussion on the challenges facing fundraisers who are members of protected classes (individuals of color, facing age-based discrimination, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and more), and how all of us can serve as agents of change to enact concrete solutions for a more inclusive fundraising and nonprofit space.

Key Take Aways:
a. You will be able to identify the best way to bring these conversations and issues to the forefront of the AFP DC community
b. You will be able to identify friction and solutions of protected classes to become the best fundraisers in light of biases, prejudices, and more

d. Understand IDEA as a resource and connector
