This seven-week study group is designed to help prepare fundraising professionals to be successful in earning their CFRE.The syllabus is based on the subject areas from the CFRE test content outline. Subject areas include:• Current and Prospective Donor Research• Securing the Gift • Relationship Building• Volunteer Involvement • Leadership and Management• Ethics and Accountability• Planned Giving • Overall Test Taking Strategies for the CFREThe two key objectives of this review course are as follows:1. To help you to be prepared to take your CFRE exam.2. To increase your general knowledge base in the core skill areas of our profession.Even if you choose NOT to sit for the exam, this review course will provide a valuable overview of the core concepts and skills needed to excel in professional fundraising.The class runs on Mondays from January 14 - March 4, 5:00 - 6:30 pm. There will be no class on January 21 in honor of Martin Luther King Day.There will be 7 different speakers, one for each class. Names will be provided with the syllabus after registration.Parking: Rappahannock Parking Garage on Patriot CircleMetro: Van Dorn Metro Stop. Free George Mason Shuttles run every 15 minutes to campus.
