Using Social Media to Tell Your Story, Inspire Your Donors, and Raise More Money!
Presented by Josh Hirsch, Social Marketing Content Manager, Susan G. Komen

In this interactive session, social media expert Josh Hirsch, MS will cover the importance of incorporating authentic storytelling into your digital communications to connect with your constituents. He'll share free content creation tools that every non-graphic designer can use to amplify their messaging and time management tools to streamline your content creation process.

This will be a hybrid event with two participation options!

Our speaker will be joining us live at Deerwood Country Club, but you have the option of joining via Zoom or in-person at Deerwood.

Joining in-person: We will meet at Deerwood Country Club for breakfast (there will be bacon!) and networking beginning at 8:30 am. The program will begin at 8:50. 
Cost: $30 for members, $40 for guests
Note: You must register by Aug 11 so we can lock in the catering count with the venue. Refunds for cancellations after that date will not be permitted. 

Joining remotely: We will send you the Zoom link to join us from 8:50-10 am.
Cost: $15 for members, $25 for guests

About the Speaker: 

Josh Hirsch is the Social Content Marketing Manager for Susan G. Komen. He has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2006 with a focus on educational philanthropy for both public charter and independent private schools. He has an extensive background in social media, digital communications, and marketing along with experience in grant research and writing, individual giving, special event planning, stewardship, and cultivation of donors. He is the Membership Chair for the Association of Fundraising Professionals First Coast Chapter and Past-President of the Palm Beach County Chapter. Josh is also a member of the AFPeeps, the social media vanguard for the AFP International Conference and other AFP initiatives. He has spoken nationally on digital communications and has had numerous articles published in professional journals. Josh received a Master of Science in Family, Youth and Community Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida. He has a Certificate in Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy from Bay Path University and is a Certified Social Media Strategist by the National Institute for Social Media.
