Description

In today’s nonprofit environment, fundraising professionals and leaders are being asked to navigate constant change, growing demands, and increasing uncertainty, all while staying mission-focused and leading with confidence. Join the AFP FL, First Coast Chapter for a powerful and highly engaging half-day seminar with Ken Miller focused on two essential ingredients for long-term success in our field: self-esteem and resilience.

This will not be your typical sit-back-and-listen seminar. Come prepared to laugh, engage, reflect, and participate in an interactive experience that will challenge you to go deeper, both personally and professionally. Ken brings authenticity, humor, and practical wisdom to every room he enters, creating space for attendees to be open, honest, and willing to look inward while walking away with actionable tools for growth.

Throughout this inspiring program, Ken will guide participants through practical strategies to strengthen confidence, manage stress, and build the mindset needed to thrive personally and professionally. The first session will explore the connection between self-esteem and success in the nonprofit sector, introducing actionable tools to cultivate confidence, overcome challenges, and maintain a growth mindset in demanding environments.

The second session will focus on resilience in the face of both expected and unexpected challenges. Participants will gain tools to navigate uncertainty, adapt to change, and remain grounded in purpose during times of disruption. Through real-world insights and practical applications, attendees will leave better equipped to strengthen both personal resilience and organizational adaptability.

Learning Outcomes Include:

  • Understanding the connection between confidence, resilience, and professional success

  • Developing strategies to build and sustain self-esteem in high-demand environments

  • Learning practical tools to manage stress and uncertainty

  • Strengthening a growth mindset and adaptability during change
