Intentional Leadership: How to Ingrain Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access in Your Nonprofit Organization.

with

Tracy Vanderneck, CFRE and Lillian Elliott

AFP Global and our local Southwest Florida Chapter have been focusing on the I.D.E.A. Initiative for the last three years, with the aim of improving inclusion, diversity, equity, and access for nonprofit professionals at every level.

Lillian Elliot and Tracy Vanderneck will share

  • insights on the importance of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access for all stakeholders in a nonprofit's universe,
  • best practices for making inclusion, diversity, equity, and access part of your organization's vision and strategy,
  • tools you can use in your own organization to begin the process of building a company culture based on these fundamentally important characteristics.

The presentation will cover building inclusive environments for staff, clients, donors, and boards of directors, and how doing so can improve employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, deepen donor and volunteer relationships, and make your organization or foundation attractive to a variety of philanthropic affinity groups.

This session is appropriate for fundraising professionals, Executive Directors/CEOs, Human Resource professionals, and members of boards of directors. We encourage you to attend with several members of your organization, and then to TAKE ACTION!
