The Power of Mentorship: Celebration of the Diversity Fellows & Coaches Program

In 2007, AFP Greater Atlanta hosted its first cohort of the Diversity Fellows and Coaches Program, a year-long fellowship that celebrates and supports the careers of individuals who are dedicated to the development profession.

Fellows are matched with a seasoned development professional and through group educational events and one-on-one peer coaching have the opportunity to build their professional fundraising skills, participate in leadership opportunities, and leverage the collective professional expertise of the chapter’s membership. The Fellows program helps Fellows expand their career opportunities and cultivates a diverse and skilled pool of nonprofit leaders in the Greater Atlanta community.

Fifteen years later, over 150 fellows have completed the program.

Join us for a discussion with 2022 Fellow Tricia Callihan and Coach Ben Minor. Tricia and Ben will reflect on their experience in the program, the importance of mentorship, and how the Diversity Fellows and Coaches program is building the pipeline of next generation nonprofit leaders.

We will also recognize the 2022 Diversity Fellows and Coaches during this meeting.
