"Using the Form 990 to Tell Your Organization's Story"

Form 990 is a form tax-exempt organizations submit to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as part of their annual reporting, intended to provide government and interested members of the public with a snapshot of the organization’s activities for that year. Unlike federal income tax returns that are private, Form 990 is open to public inspection, and today is receiving more review from donors. Learn from Debra Faulk, CAP®, Senior Philanthropic Specialist at Wells Fargo Private Bank, how the Form 990 can be a powerful tool for development professionals to inform – and motivate – funding decision-makers at private and corporate foundations, donor advised fund representatives, and individual donors.
