Join us for lunch and networking, plus a panel on grant writing!
Networking and check-in start at 11:30 while lunch is being served. The panel presentation will begin at 12:00pm.

We have invited three local grant writing experts to share their fundraising secrets, tips and tricks. Learn from Savannah's best grant writers and build a stronger portfolio today today! The session will include a series of questions managed by our facilitator. Then the audience will have a chance to ask the panel their own questions.


About The Speakers
Melissa Reams
After fifteen years working with non-profit and government agencies, Melissa Reams founded Upstream Consulting to help more organizations make a bigger impact in their communities. Throughout her career, she has supported a wide range of community improvement projects requiring extensive skills in communication, evaluation, program development, and grant writing and management. Since 2017, she has collaborated with health and social service organizations on grant writing and fundraising efforts that have brought over $3M into communities throughout the United States. Ms. Reams completed a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina Asheville and a Master of Public Health from Georgia Southern University, where she currently serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology.

Heather Gordon
Heather Gordon values Savannah’s culture and community as the place she calls home and where she serves as a non-profit consultant. Through her company, Heather Gordon Consulting, she focuses on advancing organizational effectiveness through transitional leadership. Heather works with non-profits across the region to prioritize and implement strategic planning and improved project management. Heather’s background in museums and non-profit management has her continuously evolving a more comprehensive view of how our communities intersect from infrastructure and social services to cultural comprehension and environmental conservation.
