However, the true purpose of a special event can easily get lost in the flurry of planning activity, and the results usually don’t outweigh the effort. Join us as Ed Lin, JD, CFRE leads an interactive discussion on the pros and cons of special event fundraising. In this session we’ll examine event criteria such as the true purpose, decision making processes, how to fully engage the board, and event myth-busting.
