Join Katie Tilford of the Theodore Payne Foundation for a guided hike from Mulholland Drive to Fryman Canyon. Connect with your fellow fundraisers as we learn about our local ecosystem and admire views of the San Fernando Valley.
Park at the Nancy Hoover Pohl Overlook off Mulholland Drive, and meet at the trailhead at 9 AM. The route follows a dirt trail as it descends into the canyon. Once we reach the bottom, we will take a short break before heading back up.
Sections of this trail can be quite narrow, and poison oak is common in the area. Long clothing is recommended.

Hike details:
⛰️ This is a 2.4 mile out-and-back hike with 413 ft of elevation gain.
🥾 Be prepared for steep and uneven sections - wear shoes with a good grip and bring trekking poles if desired.
☀️ The path is well shaded, but don’t forget water, sunscreen, and a hat.
🐶 Dogs allowed on leash.
🚫🚻 There are no restrooms.
🚗 Parking in lot off Mulholland - look for the Nancy Hoover Pohl Overlook sign.
