Calling all fundraising professionals! Grab your morning coffee and join us virtually on the fourth Thursday of every month for networking and topic discussions. Each month experts in the field will be on call to lead the topic discussion and answer your questions.
The topic for June is, "Effective Storytelling That Motivates Giving." Leading our talk from the Foundations of Hawaii Pacific Health are Liz Chun-Uyehara, Director of Communications and Colette Forcier, CFRE, Director of Kapi‘olani Children’s Miracle Network. Colette is also an AFP Aloha Chapter board member. View Liz and Colette's bios...
Storytelling is the most powerful tool we have as fundraisers. Strategic and skilled storytelling evokes emotion, elevates your mission and motivates people to act and give.
Looking for tips on taking the stories you have from good to great? Spinning your wheels trying to identify more stories and produce varied content? We will share our storytelling road map from discovery to content creation.
We hope you will join this session to learn how to elevate your storytelling beyond the basics, as well as, how to get the most mileage from your stories. The session will also include time for all of your storytelling for nonprofits related questions. Or if you'd like to pre-submit questions, you may send them to Colette Forcier at email@example.com.
Coffee Talk attendees will also get a chance to win a $10 Starbucks gift card...because what's a Coffee Talk without a little free coffee?
Registration is required, so don't delay! There is no charge for this event but you must register in order to participate and receive the Zoom meeting link.
Lastly, we’re excited to announce that we just launched our new online donation platform to support the AFP Aloha Chapter! Although we’re a volunteer-driven organization, we rely on community support to organize our trainings, like our free monthly Coffee Talk programs. Your tax-deductible gift will help to continue these invaluable opportunities! Just visit this link. Mahalo for your kind support!
