Since 1960, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) has inspired global change and supported efforts that generated over $1 trillion. AFP’s nearly 30,000 individual and organizational members raise over $100 billion annually, equivalent to one-third of all charitable giving in North America and millions more around the world. Since 1986, “National Philanthropy Day” has recognized the great contributions of philanthropy that enrich our world. This year, the AFPGTS Chapter will honor those persons who demonstrate strong contributions to philanthropy in our community. The National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon will take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. This luncheon provides a unique occasion to express publicly our appreciation to those who do so much to enhance philanthropic support in our community.
