Christia Hicks serves as chief human resources officer at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis. She assumes administrative responsibility over several departments within Eskenazi Health and Eskenazi Medical Group, including Human Resources, The Eskenazi Health Institute for Employee Development, Diversity & Inclusion Council, Gregory S. Fehribach Center, Volunteer Services and Occupational Health. She was formerly a physical therapist for hospitals in the Washington, D.C. area and a health facility administrator and director of specialty clinics for Eskenazi Health. 

Originally from Rockford, Illinois, she is a proud product of Rockford Public Schools. She matriculated at Augustana College, graduating with a degree in biology.  She then earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University and completed a Master of Business Administration in the fall of 2011 from Indiana Wesleyan University. Hicks serves on The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation Board of Directors, Indiana University School of Nursing Board of Advisors, and the Citizens Energy Group Board of Directors. She is a member of the Vizient Chief Human Resources Officers Council, Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration.
