Ally holds a Master's in Philanthropic Studies from the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and has been a busy part of AFP Indiana since joining in 2024. She leads the Welcome Wagon program and New Fundraiser Network, and she co-chairs the Indiana Philanthropy Awards. Her work has earned her the Marita R. Scherer Esprit De Corps Award from AFP, the Young Alumni Award from Ball State Teachers College, and the William Plater Civic Engagement Medallion.
She'll talk about how she has used everything from her time at the Lilly School to new member welcomes and happy hours to build real connections in our field. You'll hear practical ideas for meeting colleagues, finding mentors and peers, opening doors to new career opportunities, and taking care of yourself along the way. Whether you're brand new to AFP or have been a member for years, you'll walk away with ideas you can put to use right away.
