success in Fortune 100s and NGOs, Rhonda Haynes partners with
organizations to develop strategies, talent, and operational systems to
drive key outcomes.
For 30 years, Rhonda Haynes has led and developed high-performing
teams. Promoted out of a professional development program at
Abbott Laboratories six months after graduating college, she led a team of 70 to deliver historic profitability. This experience serves as the foundation upon which Rhonda has honed her leadership skills. She since led the turnaround of a $30 million business unit at Kraft Foods.
Rhonda focuses on clearing pathways to realize and sustain desired results, fueled by her passion for people, problem solving, and efficiency. From Mars, Inc., to Chicago Scholars, she has generated revenue and profitability, established processes and designs to accelerate growth, and developed teams. She strategically works to develop or align systems, processes, human capital, and external resources.
In 2025, Rhonda launched Empowering Agency LLC, a leadership development and consulting firm. In addition to earning a BS in Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Rhonda is certified in Learning Agility by Korn Ferry and completed The Management Center’s Executive Coaching program.
