Our Programs

The AFP Greater Kansas City Chapter hosts a variety of programs and events for professional and volunteer fundraisers of all levels of expertise. We offer opportunities to network and learn  through our FRED Talks series and February Focus. Each fall, we host those new to the profession at our two-day Fundraising 101, and we offer regular networking opportunities with your fellow fundraisers. ​Presented by experts in the field, Fundraising 101 is a two-day comprehensive overview of the fundraising function. Each student will leave with a detailed manual to use in their daily work. Topics covered include:

  • working with board and volunteers

  • stewardship and reporting
