National Philanthropy Day Selection Committee and Process
Annually in conjunction with the Kansas City National Philanthropy Day volunteer planning committee comprised of both AFPKC Board members and community volunteers, a volunteer selection committee is recruited to specifically review and select National Philanthropy Day honoree nominations. The National Philanthropy Day Awards Selection Committee is composed of both event planning committee members as well as influential professionals from both the nonprofit and for profit communities, including former honorees. Anyone interested with knowledge of the nonprofit and fundraising community can participate in this review and selection committee. In this role, selection committee members participate in a two-step review and scoring process as well as a robust discussion with committee members to identify annual award winners. To learn more about the selection committee or the National Philanthropy Day awards nomination process, please email support@afpkc.org.
Thank you to the National Philanthropy Day Awards Selection Committee for volunteering their time and talents and for their commit to advancing the philanthropic spirit in Kansas City!
