Andrea presently works with ChildNet as the Director of Community Relations. She is responsible for marketing, communications, fundraising, community relations, and legislative strategies. Prior to joining ChildNet, she served as Senior Director of Development for Nova Southeastern University's Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship and the College of Engineering and Computing. During her tenure at NSU, she spearheaded a $2.8 million fundraising campaign in honor of Terry Stiles for the Master's in Real Estate Development.

 Andrea was the Director of Major Gifts at the Broward Health Foundation prior to joining Nova Southeastern University. She oversaw a $20 million capital campaign that resulted in the successful completion and naming of the new Salah Foundation Children's Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center. In previous positions, Andrea worked as the Executive Director of the Florida Panthers Hockey Club's Foundation and Community Relations, as well as the Director of Development for Henderson Behavioral Health and Kids@Home. She was responsible for brand awareness, donor stewardship, and fundraising to support the mission in each position.

Andrea is well known in the community for her involvement in many charitable causes and professional organizations and has been Fort Lauderdale resident for more than 20 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University, has her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification and is a graduate of Leadership Broward, Class 29. She is currently on the Association of Fundraising Professionals board as their Education Chair and in her spare time, she is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University teaching Non-Profit Management.
