The James (Jim) Meyer Award - Presented to Fran Karliner
Presented to an outstanding fundraiser who has elevated the profession, making a long-standing and significant impact through education, facilitating connections, and sharing access to a variety of resources including funding sources.
The Gilbert Tilles Award
This award is given to a corporation, business or foundation that exhibits outstanding commitment to philanthropy and community involvement. The award recipient will demonstrate leadership in motivating others to participate in philanthropic endeavors and has committed time, effort and financial resources to one or more charities.
The Horace Hagedorn Outstanding Philanthropist Award
Honoring an individual or family who has demonstrated outstanding civic, and philanthropic leadership through a proven record of exceptional generosity and financial support. Nominees must have encouraged and motivated others to take similar leadership roles toward philanthropy within the Long Island not-for-profit community.
Outstanding Corporation Award
To qualify for this award, a local corporation must demonstrate outstanding commitment through financial support and activity that encourages and motivates others to respond philanthropically to the Long Island community of not- for-profit organizations.
Leaders of Tomorrow Award - Presented to Max Levine
This award is given to a person between the ages of 5 and 18 who has demonstrated exceptional accomplishments through volunteerism and philanthropic activities. Age and grade will be considered when reviewing criteria.
Program will include a special - and brief - presentation sharing survey results from a joint effort of AFPLI and CCS Fundraising.
