That's a Good IDEA: Town Hall

The recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain, Rayshard Brooks, and countless others at the hands of police have sparked protests and civil unrest across the country as well as sparked dialogue and highlighted experiences of people of color across many sectors. A Financial Times review of statements from US companies found more than $450M in pledges to groups focused on social and racial justice. With this influx in donations, what role does the nonprofit sector have in anti-racism and social justice activism? Join us for a community conversation about race and equity, with a specific focus on how fundraisers can play a role in dismantling systemic racism and bias in the underserved communities we serve. Moderated by IDEA committee co-chairs, Shenise Foote and Daryel Peake.
