Did you know that August is Black Philanthropy Month? Join AFP Greater Detroit's IDEA Committee in celebrating the importance of Black communities in philanthropy and investigating this year's theme: Afrofuturism.
On August 14, we will be joined by a star-studded panel of scholars, philanthropy experts, and non-profit leaders who will lead us in an exploration of the ways Afrofuturism can inspire new visions for the future, the importance of community-centrism in fundraising, and the potential of philanthropy to effect lasting positive change. Don't miss this opportunity to hear how we can shift our perspective to create a more just future for all.
