Development Coordinator | Trailhead Community Health Foundation

The Development Coordinator provides vital administrative and operational support to the Trailhead development team, helping ensure the success of fundraising, donor stewardship, and data management efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional seeking hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate donor and prospect records in the CRM, processing gifts and pledges, supporting donor acknowledgment activities, preparing reports, and assisting with data quality and database management. The Coordinator also helps organize donor events, manage event logistics and communications, coordinate mailings, and support donor stewardship and prospect research efforts.

Additionally, the role provides administrative support through scheduling, document preparation, file management, and collaboration with internal teams to advance fundraising goals and initiatives. The Coordinator serves as a key resource for tracking donor engagement, ensuring accurate records, and supporting the overall efficiency of development operations.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 1 to 2 years of administrative or nonprofit experience, familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word), strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Grants Manager | Girl Scouts of North East Ohio

Salary: $62,000 per year

The Grants Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of grant funding to maximize income from foundations and government grants for the support of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO). This position will develop strategies to increase grant funding and create a plan and timeline for all GSNEO grant solicitations, research new grant opportunities, establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential funders, write/edit grant proposals, review all grant proposals before submission, generate/manage reporting on the status of grant funding, and other project management. The Director of Grants Management will work closely with other department heads to gather information, refine the grant process, and educate and train other staff. This position will coordinate closely with the other members of the Fund Development team.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Marketing/Communications or related field or experience commensurate with degree

· Minimum 5 years’ experience of successful research, writing and obtaining grants

· Strong human relations skills such as leadership, networking, and relationship building

· Project management skills: ability to prioritize the strategic plan of the council and execute into tangible actions

· Demonstrated ability to successfully handle conflict resolution at all levels with a variety of people, including external customers

· Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.

· Advanced Microsoft Office Suite computer skills

· Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary

· Well disciplined, able to meet deadlines, self-starter

· Thorough understanding of local markets

· Commitment to inclusiveness

· Knowledge of the Girl Scout program preferred

· Ability to travel throughout council as needed

· Knowledge of basic accounting practices and nonprofit administration

Vice President of Development | National Inventors Hall of Fame

The Development Coordinator is responsible for performing, supporting, and promoting activities to ensure exceptional record keeping and stewardship of donors, grantors, and sponsors as well as ensuring that all fundraising and donor activities elevate financial support for and awareness of The Village of St. Edward’s mission. The Development Coordinator produces accurate and timely marketing & communications pieces and participates in the coordination and execution of programs and special events.
