Building and Maintaining a Culture of Philanthropy – Intentionally Engaging Your Entire Team
In today’s nonprofit landscape, fundraising is a shared responsibility across the organization, not just the development team. Building a culture of philanthropy means recognizing that all employees—from finance to marketing—play a role in advancing the organization’s mission through donor engagement and fostering a philanthropic environment.
Creating this culture starts with leadership modeling values of generosity and shared responsibility, while clearly communicating how fundraising supports organizational goals. It requires ongoing strategies to engage staff, provide training, and make fundraising a collective effort integrated into the organization’s culture.
AFPNEO is proud to bring together a panel of Northeast Ohio nonprofit professionals from various organizational disciplines for a thoughtful discussion of ideas and strategies to create and maintain this organizational culture.
This is not only a panel presentation but an interactive conversation with the panelist and attending peers.
Kick off 2025 on the right note with this insightful professional development opportunity!
