The annual appeal provides the base of most fundraising programs. This interactive virtual session will discuss how to make your appeals pop and raise more money. Let’s make sure your appeals are saying the right things, to the right donors, at the right time. The group will brainstorm new ideas to catch the attention, and dollars, of your donors.
 
Objectives:
•    Learn the importance of segmenting your data
•    Understand how to write compelling copy based on the donor
•    Generate new ideas for annual appeals


Meet Our Presenter
Sara Lundenberger


Sara is the Vice President of Nonprofit Consulting and Operations at Dot Org Solutions, a marketing, fundraising, and strategic planning agency for nonprofit organizations in Akron. Sara started her career at the Pro Football Hall of Fame before taking on third-party events and grassroots fundraising campaigns at Akron Children’s Hospital. She has been with Dot Org Solutions since 2015 and has worked with countless nonprofit organizations in northeast Ohio, nationally, and globally helping them serve their mission and raise more money. She is a proud alum of Mount Union College (Go Raiders) and earned a master’s degree from Malone University in organizational leadership.

Full participation in The Art of Awesome Annual Appeals is applicable for 1.0 points in Category 1.B - Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
