Angelique Grant, Ph.D. has over 26 years of experience in the nonprofit industry. She is considered a thought leader in IDEA and is the co-author of the recently published book Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Advancement: A Guide to Strengthening Engagement and Fundraising Through Inclusion. Dr. Grant works with nonprofit DEI employee resource groups across the country and is a certified unconscious bias trainer/facilitator who has presented at national conferences.
Jethro O. Miller

Jethro Miller is responsible for overseeing Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s philanthropic fundraising program, including gifts from individual donors, family and institutional foundations. Prior to joining Planned Parenthood in May 2014, he spent six years at the American Red Cross, serving as vice president for principal and major gifts.

Yolanda Richards has worked in the human resources field for more than twenty years, most of which have been spent in the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining CCS, Yolanda led talent acquisition at UNICEF USA, was a Global Recruiter for the International Rescue Committee, and was the Director of Human Resources for the Harlem Children’s Zone.

Birgit Smith Burton, the first black woman chair-elect of AFP-Global, is a respected leader in the fundraising profession and a well-regarded speaker on the topics of fundraising and diversity. She has authored articles on diversity in the fundraising profession and contributed to the books, The Philanthropic Covenant with Black America, Five Minutes for Fundraising: A Collection of Expert Advice from Gifted Fundraisers, and Collecting Courage.
Keatley Scroggins, JD, CFRE

Keatley Scroggins, JD, CFRE is an experienced development professional currently leading a team of major gift officers at Emory University. Prior to this role she served as Director of Development for the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Institute of Technology, and earlier worked at Davidson College, University of Oregon, Dartmouth College, and Morehouse College. She is also involved with the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.
